Some more lovely paintings from Kate Pugsley. I can relate to her work being prominently single portraits. Trying to catch someone in a still moment in time was exhilarating when I used to paint. Ya know what? Part of me may resent going to school for graphic design instead of spending a life painting and being a struggling artist. I guess its a decision all artists have to make at some point in their life. These paintings reminded me of who I was before I allowed the stresses of deadlines, competition, and appealing to the masses into my life. sigh...
